This is Doug... he is a regular at the Viking Hotel. Our team from the Beer Parlour Project visited the Viking Hotel back on April 13th of this spring. There were a number of regular patrons in attendance on the night of our visit, but the place was not overly busy. Apparently there was a community event going on in one of the neighboring towns, and many of the locals were there.
My big view camera must have really made an impression on Doug. He agreed to pose for me, and even removed his hat. The rest of the time that ballcap seemed to be ingrown, and he never took it off. Doug is a really outgoing and social guy and he kept everyone entertained.
I shot this with my Ebony view camera and a Nikkor 210mm lens. This was Kodak T-Max 400 film, pushed to 1600 iso. Development was in T-Max Developer, 1:4 for 8:20 minutes at 24C. I quite like the way this one turned out and will share a copy with Doug as well.
