On November 27th and 28th I worked in the darkroom and made a bunch of 8" x 10" prints for the Beer Parlour Project. Chris and Connie and I are looking to put together a presentation portfolio that includes a dozen or so images from the first year and a half of the project. We want to use this to promote the project to future venues.
In time we expect to generate some better images, and will replace some of the weaker ones with stronger and new images. For now, our selection shows a good variation of style, location and subject matter. I took a bunch of snapshots of the prints that I was working on. Some of the prints were in the darkroom under safelight, being fixed.... Others were beyond the safelight stage and were in the process of being cleared in Hypo Clearing Agent, or toned in Selenium.
The finished prints will be dry mounted onto 11" x 14" mounts and presented in the portfolio box. Chris and Connie are also working on getting some of their digital images ready for presentation.
