Piano

On December 6 my friend Steve and I went out on a day trip.  Partly we wanted to scout some small town hotel taverns to see if anything would work for my Beer Parlour Project.  We didn't find anything of interest, at least not that was still in operation.
We did stop by at the Russian Monastery.  This little know site was abandoned about 60 years ago.  Some monks from Montreal attempted to make a go of it back in the 1960's but gave up after a year or two.  There's nothing left but some rudimentary buildings that are now just about fully collapsed.
A few years back the site was reclaimed by a local order of Russian monks.  A piano was left in the clearing between all the buildings at that time.  I have photographed the buildings dating back many years, and more recently the piano as well.  Even the piano now seems to have given up.  A couple of cold Canadian winters and it has now tipped over and is beginning to fall apart.
