March Calendar Image

This is the image that I selected for the March Page of my 2022 calendar.  This Sandspit is in Abraham Lake, at Windy Point.  It becomes exposed every spring when the water level in the reservoir is at its lowest.  Over the summer months it slowly disappears, only to reappear the following spring.  The reservoir is filled over the summer months, reaching peak capacity in the fall.  Then, it is slowly drained over the winter and into the spring.  The cycle repeats every year.
