The basement plumbing debacle has now been dealt with. Nothing that five days of miserable shitty work and $10k couldn't fix. These are before and after shots. First, digging out all the clay to expose the old cast iron fittings, after the concrete floor got jack hammered out. Braeden ended up getting a job with the plumbing company and that's him doing some of the digging.
There are also some shots of the old fittings, and the journeyman plumber Caleb, working to cut off the old fittings. He's 6'8" tall, so a challenge for him to get down into the excavation.
The last two photos are the after shots, showing all the new drain and vent lines above the repoured floor, and our new sump pit.
