This is a recently processed negative from the Beer Parlour Project outing at the Eckville Hotel. This was back in August, at Billy Zee's Tavern. I got the whole gang to gather together in one of the brighter spots in the bar and took this group portrait. That's Billy Zee, the owner of the bar, second from the left, our bartender Lynne beside him, and to the left of her, the self-proclaimed town sheriff, Malcolm.
This was from the batch of Kodak T-Max 400 film that I recently processed. I underexposed these 4x5 negatives at 1250 iso, and then over developed them in T-Max Developer, 1:4. They turned out alright, but not spectacular. The lighting in taverns certainly leaves something to be desired in terms of large format photography. I'm going to experiment with some artificial lighting, the next time we head out. We were supposed to visit a central Alberta hotel on October 18th, but sadly that outing had to be re-scheduled.
