This is the image that I selected for the May page of my 2023 Fine Art Photography Calendar. This is Abraham Lake, not far from our cottage in Nordegg. The mountain in the background is Wapta Kista.
I shot this photograph on May 23rd 2020 at around 3:00 in the afternoon. It was taken with my Ebony view camera and a Schneider 135mm lens. A #25 Red Filter was used to increase contrast and to create separation in the sky.
