This is the image that I selected for the March page of my David Thompson Country calendar. I took this shot on March 12th of 2023 at about 1:45 in the afternoon. This is Abraham Lake, not far from Nordegg. The ice on the lake both last year and this year has not been as good for viewing bubbles as it has been in the past. I took this shot with my Ebony view camera and a wide 90mm lens. A #22 Orange filter was used to increase contrast a little.
