The is another image from our visit to the Acme Hotel... also known as BP 21.0. Chris and I visited back in March.
This is Gerry, a local resident who frequents the bar. She was there with a bunch of friends and neighbors. We like to think it was because of our visit, as it was pre-arranged and pre-announced. Maybe we're getting swollen heads...?
I shot this on March 14th at about 8:00PM. It was taken on a sheet of Kodak T-Max 400, pushed to 1250 iso. I recently developed this batch in Kodak T-Max Developer, 1:4, and extended development to compensate for the underexposure.
I shot this with my Ebony view camera and a 210mm lens. Lighting is always the challenge in these places and I've recently starting using some artificial lighting to supplement the ambient light. Getting patrons in a tavern environment to hold still for the long shutter speeds is sometimes a challenge, though Gerry pretty much nailed it. The exposure was for 1 second at F8.0.
