Exploring with Arturo and Sharon

My friends Arturo and Sharon came out to Nordegg for a couple of days at the beginning of August.  Unfortunately Margarit was not able to join us.  We spent the two days our photographing.  Sharon is not a photographer, but she likes to paint and sketch.  So she worked on some sketches while Arturo and I were out with the cameras.  For two days in a row we headed out on the side by side and out onto the ATV trails.  We tried to photograph at the old pump house but it is now entirely flooded and the creek has become a beaver pond.  We spent a fair bit of time down along Shunda Creek.  At the trail crossing near town the creek is also flooded... by another beaver dam.  But further downstream the water level is really low, and Shunda Falls is really picturesque.
In the evenings we just hung out at the cottage.  Had a BBQ for the evening meal both days, and stayed up late having a few drinks.  It was a very pleasant visit and the weather was ideal.
While we were down at the creek I goofed around a little with a blue/yellow color polarizing filter.  Some snapshots are included below.
Someone placed a whole bunch of garden gnomes, in at least three different spots along the creek, with absolutely no explanation.  Rather strange...
