This is a scan of a 4"x5" sheet of Ilford HP5+. I shot this photograph last spring when I was over in Saskatchewan with Chris and Byron for some Beer Parlour Project outings. We visited three hotels while we were on the trip, and in between we did a little exploring. Most the time the weather was reasonable, but on this particular day it was cool and overcast.
I shot this image on April 12th of 2026 at about 12:30 in the afternoon. I used my Ebony SV45TE view camera and a Fujinon 125mm lens. I rated the film at 320 iso, and exposed at F32.0 for 1/30 second. The film was developed on May 29th, in 510 Pyro Developer, 1:100 for 7:45 minutes at 24C.
This may have been one of those kit houses that early settlers purchased through a catalogue. Eatons had a very popular model that looked something like this one, but this isn't the one. It may have come from one of the other companies that offered such house packages, or perhaps it was stick built and just looks similar.
