Roadside Hoodoos

I shot this one in August of 2020 when Margarit and I spent a day exploring around the Red Deer River Valley.  These roadside hoodoos are not far from the shop in East Coulee.  I used a longer focal length lens to isolate the hoodoos against the background hill.  I shot this on Fuji Neopan Acros 4x5 sheet film and gave a little extra development to increase contrast.  The red filter that I used deepened the shadows a bit and this also increased contrast.  I generally happy with the way that this one turned out and may try to make a print of it one of these days.
