In the early evening of April 24 I made a stop at Willow Creek Coulee. Most years it is a little swampy and muddy in the valley bottom. With drought conditions the past couple of years it is now very dry. There are some beautiful contorted Cottonwoods in the valley and I photographed a couple of them with my view camera. I sure hope we get some rain soon, so that these majestic trees survive. These are just a few phone snapshots that I took as I was exploring...
