The Renegades played a late game last night against the Canadians. The Canadians are in first place, with a record of 11 wins, 8 losses and 1 overtime loss. The Renegades have an identical record, but we find ourselves in last place. This is because 6 of our victories came in Division XI and when we were moved up to Division X, we had 8 points deducted. The game last night started out well, and we jumped out to an early 4-0 lead. But, late in the game we ran out of gas, and the Canadians cranked up the level. They got some couple lucky bounces, scored some late goals, and we ended up losing the game by a score of 7-5. There are 10 games remaining in the regular season and we are going to have to put this ongoing losing streak to an end, and string together some wins. Hopefully I can get the guys to focus on more consistent play and we can turn things around.
