Shortly after Martina and Karl left I went down into the darkroom to finish up my print for the VAAA Open Photo Exhibition. The framed prints need to be delivered before the end of August. Initially they will be shown at the Calgary Jubilee Auditorium for a month before coming back to Edmonton to be shown in the Kaasa Gallery at the Edmonton Jubilee Auditorium in November. There will be an opening reception at both shows and Margarit and I hope to make it to the one in Edmonton. My print is called "Anna's Swing" and was taken at the old playground in Dorothy in 2009. It is a slightly warm toned black and white print with a cream colored overmat, in a bronze frame. This snapshot does not do it justice as it was taken under fluorescent light and has a very greenish cast.
