The Renegades had a hockey game on Saturday morning of the Thanksgiving Long Weekend. It was nice to get the game over with early, and leave the rest of the weekend free. We faced off against the Icebreakers with a full bench, and a back-up goaltender. The Icebreakers also had a back-up goalie, but weren't so lucky with their roster. They only had 10 skaters, and then part way through the game one guy got hurt and had to leave. We skated to an easy 12-3 victory. One of our new players had a 7 point game which included a hat trick. After the game I went home, showered, and quickly packed the last few things into our trailer. The girls and I hit the road around lunch time, headed for the foothills...
