July Calendar Image

This is the image I selected for the July page of my 2025 Fine Art Monochrome calendar.  Chris and I found this old truck in late June of 2024, when we were exploring in southern Saskatchewan.  This was in the town of Climax.  There are signs on the highway at either end of town that say... "Welcome to Climax" as you enter, and "Please come again" as you leave.  The town boasts that it is the home town of former NHL hockey player Gord Kluzak.  This truck must have belonged to a relative of his.  The reference to Canuck is a town.  Nothing exists there any longer but it was once a small town, with a rail siding and a grain elevator, just a few miles to the east.
