This is the second of the two sheets of Ilford HP5+ that I processed immediately after my return from the Fall Photo Weekend. I was drawn to the long shadows that this little sage plant was casting onto the outwash of textured clay. A small little detail that many would pass over, but somehow it caught my eye.
I exposed this sheet of HP5 at 320 iso and gave it normal development. I shot this with my Ebony view camera and a slightly long 200mm lens. A number 8 Yellow filter boosted contrast slightly and created some separation in the clay. The exposure was for 1/30 of a second at F25.0.
