A couple weeks ago the girls found this enormous worm in our back yard. When stretched out the hideous thing was nearly 8" long and 3/8" in diameter. I've never seen an earthworm this big before. I wonder if it is not a night crawler, that got away from someone's bait box. We didn't want to release it into our yard and create an epidemic of them, so we disposed of it...
