The Ice Kings were eliminated from summer playoffs as the result of playing a suspended player. The cut is now down to six teams, and the Renegades are struggling to stay alive. We played the Mighty Peking Ducks on Friday night and were beaten soundly by a much younger, faster team. The final score was 9-4. We had a pretty short bench, only 12 players, and I didn't play due to a sprained knee. We now drop down to the loser pool of the "double knockout round robin". We need to win on Tuesday July 12th against Papa Johns Pizza to stay alive. My knee is feeling better so I hope to be able to play. If we can win that one we will live to play again later in the week.
